ROLE OF A JUNIOR SALES TRADER
As a Junior Sales Trader- Benelux, you play an important role in driving the business forward. In this highly competitive market, you’ll constantly engage with prospective clients to fully grasp their needs, and apply strategic thinking to tailor-make solutions that cater to these requirements. This role entails exposure to a broad spectrum of professionals at all levels, as well as to companies from various industries and markets. By working strategically to offer clients sustainable solutions, you genuinely help them move forward towards a greener future.
- Building your own customer portfolio
- Serve the existing customer portfolio in a professional manner
- Creating deals with the assistance of our traders and analysts
- Negotiating deals with new and existing clients
- Doing the required research and analysis in a new market
- Dive into market developments
- Becoming the main information source for counterparties you trade with
- 1-2 years of commercial experience
- Experience in Sales and Business Development, preferably within a commodities, energy, banking or forex environment
- Affinity with finance and commodities
- Able to work independently and result-driven
- Not afraid to cold call and approach people pro-actively
- International experience during studies and/or career is a plus
- Native Dutch speaker and fluent in English
- Energetic, curious and ambitious
- Living or relocating to (the area of) Amsterdam
